Boiler equipment

Marine boilers

The marine boilers constitute a special group within our product portfolio. These boilers are used onboard ships and on off-shore rigs. The design of these boilers is aligned with the restricted spatial conditions, vibrations and movements of the ship.

The marine boilers can be designed as composite boilers. Whilst on the move, these boilers use the heat from the ship’s engines. In the port and with the ship’s engines at a standstill, these types of boilers are driven by their own burners.

The customer receives his boiler together with the certificate and equipment according to the required classification organization (e.g. Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyds Register, and others).

Steam boilers

Steam boiler type HDK

Steam output: 300 – 16,000 kg/h

Single flame tube three-pass boilers are produced as saturated steam and optionally as hot steam generators. Operating pressures of up to 30 bar depending on capacity.

Three-pass steam boilers are exceptional due to their high levels of efficiency, safety, robust design and minimal operating requirements. That is why they are found in many industrial sectors.

Anyone who is looking for quality at a reasonable price opts for this type of boilers.

Water tube steam boilers

Steam output

1,000 – 25,000 kg/h*

Water tube steam boilers are used in areas where higher operating pressures are required.

So-called “products boilers” with their low water content can also be realized on the basis of water tube technology.

Both oil and gas burners can be used in order to operate the water tube boilers, as can many different types of biomass (coal, wood, coffee, cocoa, rice and sunflower seed husks).

Rapid steam generators

Rapid steam generators type HSE

Steam output 50 – 4,000 kg/h

The rapid steam generators are well suited for the generation of relatively low volumes of steam and provide an economical alternative to the steam boiler.

Thanks to the low water vapor volumes in the tube coil, the rapid steam generator is ready for operation after just a brief warm-up phase.

The rapid steam generators can be produced in a horizontal or vertical configuration. With the aid of this steam generator, steam pressures of up to 100 bar and more can be realized.

The rapid steam generators can also be designed as direct-fired clean steam generators. In this case all medium-carrying parts such as the tube coil pump and valves are produced from stainless steel.

Electric steam boilers

Steam output 50 – 2,000 kg/h*

The electric steam boilers are used in areas where the installation of a flue is not possible for structural reasons, or where other fuels are unavailable.

Electric steam boilers commonly offer the option of installing a clean steam generator as a shell-type boiler. In this case all medium-bearing parts are produced from stainless steel. In some countries the electrical energy tariffs are very low, meaning that the use of an electric steam boiler makes sense for financial reasons.

Natural circulation high pressure steam boilers

Natural circulation high pressure steam boilers type HPB

Steam output 300 – 8,000 kg/h

This type of boiler is a variant of the water tube steam boiler and is very well suited to the generation of steam with higher pressures. These boiler systems are very space-efficient due to their vertical design.

With the aid of this boiler type, operating pressures of up to 120 bar are possible.

These boilers are particularly well suited for the production of edible oils and oils used in the cosmetics industry (e.g. avocado oil/palm oil). Furthermore, many applications are possible in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

High pressure steam generators

High pressure steam generators type HPG

Steam output 50 – 1,000 kg/h

The high pressure steam generator is a vertical steam generator with an internal tube coil. This type of boiler is particularly well suited for applications in which a low volume of steam is required with a high operating pressure (up to 120 bar).

The generator functions in a closed circuit as natural circulation without make-up feeding.

These generators are used in the production of edible oils, margarines, technical greases, etc.

Waste heat steam boilers

Waste heat steam boilers type AHK

Our planning and construction of the waste heat steam boilers is process-orientated. The waste heat systems are as diverse as the thermal processes that take place in industry.

We offer tailored solutions with consideration to the prevailing conditions (dust exposure, aggressive media, risk of explosions, etc.)

Waste heat boilers are used behind thermal afterburning systems, behind gas and diesel motors, in the chemical industry and behind glass, steel and aluminum blast furnaces.

Hot water boilers

Three-pass hot water boilers

HWK single flame tube

Secondary circuits

Can be designed both as cooling and as heating systems.

Secondary circuits are used in places where the temperature control of individual consumers is required. The individual temperature control of consumers by secondary circuits is a constantly economical solution if the individual consumers do not have equal heating requirements at the same time. A heat carrier circulating around the circuit (e.g. thermal oil, water or coolant) is run alongside the thermal consumers where it transfers its heat before being subsequently pumped back to the heat generator.

The use of secondary circuits facilitates a very precise temperature regulation for technological processes.

The secondary circuits are used in many industries for functions such as the press heating of galvanic baths, the temperature control of indirectly heated hot water or steam generators, in controlling the temperature of heat exchangers and bitumen tank systems.

Thermal deaerators

Thermal deaerator is a device that is widely used for the removal of oxygen from the feedwater to steam-generating boilers of CHP and NPS plants. Deaerator is normally composed of heater and storage tank.

We offer tray-type and spray-type deaerator.

This kind of devices is safe and simple in use, while gas removal process is advanced. If its necessary deaerator can be additionally equipped with pressure level regulator, pressure release valves, fluid level gages, discharge valves, complete set of control devices, etc.
